The former theatre, after a facade remodel, is on the far left of this photo of the apartment building at Bayshore and Leland. Thanks to Art Siegel for spotting it on page 25 of the 2005 Arcadia Publishing book "San Francisco's Visitacion Valley" by Cynthia Cox, Edie Epps, Jackie Fishtrom, Russel Morine and Betty Parshall of the Visitacion Valley History Project. There's a preview on Google Books. The authors note that Leland Ave. was likely named after Leland Stanford. The photo is credited to the Taylor family.
More Information: See the Cinema Tour and Cinema Treasures pages about the Bayshore.
Jack Tillmany's Arcadia Publishing book "Theatres of San Francisco" can be previewed on Google Books. It's available from Amazon or your local bookseller. There's a small shot of the Bayshore on page 113.
