A photo of this Barbary Coast venue taken between 1907 and 1911 by Martin Behrman. This version is on the Open SF History Project website where they give a date of 1910 and credit it to the Martin Behrman Negative Collection in the archives at the Golden Gate National Recreation Area.
Another copy of the photo is in the San Francisco Public Library collection. Written on the back of theirs: "Northeast corner Montgomery St. and Pacific Street. The Turf, 498 Pacific St. Frank Schivo, Prop. (later owned Hippodrome); listed in phone books & directories 1907-11."
