Opening: Unknown. It was running in 1915. It's in the 1916 city directory.
Thanks
to John Bosko for this fine
view of a theatre called the Pastime running "The Honeymooners," a
title used for at least six films between 1912 and 1915. The photo was a post on the BAHT Facebook page.
An early guess was it might be the Pastime Theatre that was on the 700 block of Market St. during this period. As Jack Tillmany commented: "It's not."

Jack suggests that the
photo MIGHT be the Pastime on Haight between Webster and Fillmore. No definite photos of that one have surfaced.
Berkeley also had a Pastime Theatre at 2483 Shattuck (c.1909-1911), again a venue with no photos. There was another Pastime in San Francisco at 1757 Fillmore, earlier called the Hausler Theatre. But it didn't use the Pastime name until 1921.

The lettering on the banner evidently says: "Welcome To The President." Jack notes: "President
William Howard Taft visited SF in October 1911, when he broke ground
for the proposed PPIE in Golden Gate Park, lunched at the Cliff House
etc. 'The Honeymooners' was a September 1911 Thanhouser release so the
pieces fit."
A 1915 advertising flyer for the Pastime on Haight St. from the Jack Tillmany collection. He notes: "That's when Evelyn Selbie was working as Broncho Billy Anderson's leading lady in Niles."
